SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Fluidx Medical's GPX Embolic Device was used to effectively devascularize a large tumor with multiple feeding vessels as part of a multi-center clinical trial.
"This could have been a challenging case since it involved a large renal tumor fed by small, low flow, tortuous vessels. We were able to use our standard embolic microcatheter to deliver GPX in a highly controlled fashion. Since we were not worried about catheter entrapment, we could take our time and ensure that we occluded all targeted vessels completely.
