Over the past decade, great improvements have been made in the field of bioimaging. A variety of technologies, including highly sensitive confocal microscopy, now allow scientists to observe subcellular structures and biological events with greater resolution. In order to generate the high quality images required for advanced cell biology research, demand for antibodies against various organelles and subcellular structures that are both highly sensitive and specific has significantly increased.
