Published: Sep 14, 2018
MELROSE, Mass., /PRNewswire/ -- Garden Remedies, Inc., Massachusetts' first woman-led and physician-led cannabis company, is launching the Catalyst Mentoring Program to equip newcomers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the fast-evolving and complex cannabis industry. The program is designed for participants who have been approved as priority applicants by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, which aims to ensure diversity in the new cannabis market. Catalyst begins with an orientation class and tour on October 15 at Garden Remedies' state-of-the-art cultivation and processing facility in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
The Catalyst Mentoring Program is a natural extension of Garden Remedies' focus on educating patients and the public at large about the many benefits of the natural medicine and increasing access to safe, pure and regulated cannabis products.
"As a woman entrepreneur in an emerging--and often misunderstood--business, I've experienced challenges and relied on a talented team with diverse experiences to help overcome them and grow a thriving business," said Dr. Karen Munkacy, M.D., Founder, President and CEO of Garden Remedies, Inc. "I'm pleased that our wealth of knowledge can be shared through the Catalyst Mentoring Program to give others a path to success."
