EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fibrocell Science, Inc. (NYSE MKT:FCSC), an autologous cell therapy company primarily focused on developing innovative products for skin diseases and conditions, today announced the company was honored with a Partners in Progress Award from the Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association of America (DEBRA). The award recognizes the company’s recent work developing potential therapies for those with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare, genetic, connective tissue disorder for which there is no treatment or cure. David Pernock, Chairman and CEO of Fibrocell Science, accepted the award during the 15th Annual DEBRA of America Benefit at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City on October 24, 2013.
