Encysive Pharmaceuticals Receives License to Sell Thelin in Ireland
Encysive Pharmaceuticals Inc. has made its pulmonary arterial hypertension drug Thelin commercially available in Ireland.
The Houston-based biopharmaceutical company said Thelin is the first selective endothelin A receptor antagonist, and the first once-daily oral treatment for patients with PAH, which currently affects more than 100,000 people in North America and Europe.
