The paper describes the results from the first-in-human clinical study of DX-2930 which met all of its objectives of assessing safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of this investigational drug candidate. Additionally, the data indicates that DX-2930 has a half-life of 17-21 days in humans. DX-2930 is being developed for the prophylactic treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1b study in patients with HAE.
