FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.,  /PRNewswire/ -- The YMCA of South Florida, at Pembroke Pines (YMCA) announces its appointment of Anne Arvizu, PharmD, FASCP, PCC, as Chairperson of its Board of Directors. Anne was supported by the Board in a unanimous vote on Sept 3, promoting her in office from Vice Chair to Chair.

She spent a 2-year term as Secretary/Treasurer for the American Medical Writers Association, and currently also serves with the DIA as a Program Committee Member, Track Chair and speaker for their major events.
