Care Progress Awarded National Cancer Institute SBIR Fast Track

The Fast Track award provides Care Progress with both Phase I and Phase II. Typically, companies need to apply for Phase II only after Phase I has been completed. The combined award will support a detailed development program including product design and validation, along with testing that will be performed in collaboration with world-class oncologists at Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, which has been collaborating with Care Progress since 2014.

The new technology the company is developing under this award will dovetail with CarePrompter, Care Progress’s award-winning nurse triage/patient engagement software. Care Progress was one of five finalists out of 160 global entries in the Astellas Oncology C³ Prize competition.
