Cardiac Insight Raises $7 Million

Cardiac Insight reported raising $7.1 million of a hoped-for $9.1 million round for its Stealth atrial fibrillation monitoring patch.

The equity round involved 2 unnamed investors, with the 1st sale coming June 26, according to a regulatory filing.

Cardiac Insight, a Bellevue, Wash.-based spinout from the University of Washington, won 510(k) clearance from the FDA for the Stealth device last year.
