Blink Health Opens New Pittsburgh Office

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Blink Health, the app that lets people get their prescription medication at much lower prices, announces it is opening a new office in Pittsburgh as the company continues its rapid expansion. The new office will support the company’s mission of providing Americans the best prices available on their prescriptions.

Michael Nameth, Executive Vice President of Cloud & Specialty Pharmacy, will serve as the Executive Lead for the Pittsburgh office. Nameth has more than 30 years of experience in several key areas of healthcare, including specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management and managed care. Before joining Blink in 2018, Nameth was Chief Executive Officer at national specialty pharmacy Aureus Health Services and also previously served as Executive Vice President for Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and President of WellPoint’s PBM.

The new office, which will accommodate more than 70 employees, will help expand Blink Health’s online pharmacy programs. The company plans to draw from a deep pool of local talent in Pittsburgh to fill engineering and pharmacy specialist roles. The new hires will be responsible for helping ensure Blink users have seamless access to the lowest prices on their prescription medications and all the support they need to stay adherent.
