BIO2016: Verseon Reveals More Details On Its Family Of Anti-Coagulants At BIO 2016 International Convention
Fremont, Calif. – Verseon will reveal the latest data on pharmacological safety assessment and the establishment of dose response in preclinical efficacy models on its new class of anticoagulants with lower bleeding liability at a presentation at the Bio Convention meeting on June 7th in San Francisco.
These novel small-molecule direct thrombin inhibitors act through reversible covalent inhibition, a unique mode of action that leads to novel pharmacology, including lower bleeding liability as seen in multiple preclinical tests. In addition to efficacy and lower bleeding risk, Verseon’s new class of anticoagulants also has pharmacokinetic properties suitable for oral dosing.
