Baxter International, Inc. Names Jeanne K. Mason Corporate Vice President, Human Resources
DEERFIELD, Ill., April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Baxter International Inc. today announced that Jeanne K. Mason has been named the company's corporate vice president, Human Resources. Mason will join Baxter May 15, and report to Robert L. Parkinson, Jr., Baxter's chairman and chief executive officer. She will have responsibility for the global human resource function, including staffing and leadership development.

Mason joins Baxter from GE Insurance Solutions, a primary insurance and reinsurance business, where she was responsible for global human resource functions. She began her career with General Electric in 1988, after serving with the U.S. General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C. Her GE experience included leadership roles in Europe for GE Information Services and GE Capital Real Estate. Mason also served for two years as vice president of Human Resources for PHH Vehicle Management Services.
Mason earned a Ph.D. in psychology from George Washington University and a master's from American University in the same field of study. Her undergraduate degree is from Pitzer College.
