Affymax, Inc. Appoints Karin L. Walker as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFFY) today announced that it has appointed Karin L. Walker, CPA, as vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. Ms. Walker has over two decades of financial management experience, including in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. In this newly created position, Ms. Walker will report to Herb Cross, Affymax’s chief financial officer, and will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the finance function and accounting activities.
