NEW YORK, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), an organization exclusively dedicated to the training & accreditation of medical affairs professionals and the medical science liaison (MSL) profession has partnered with the Council for Continuing Pharmaceutical Education (CCPE), the organization providing training & accreditation of Canadian pharmaceutical industry professionals since 1969.

The partnership between the ACMA and CCPE will enable more medical affairs and MSL professionals in Canada to become Board Certified in Medical Affairs via the Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist Program (BCMAS). The CCPE and ACMA have collaborated to put together a first in class training program tailored for Canadian MSL professionals. The Council for Continuing Pharmaceutical Education (CCPE) of Canada is an unbiased not-for-profit that provides affordable educational programs to enhance the competencies of healthcare industry contributors.
