To kick off this new offering, the two companies are also announcing a request for clinical trial proposals from sponsors interested in accelerating the pace, quality and experience of end-to-end Phase II or Phase IV clinical trials in the following therapeutic areas: dermatology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, inflammatory diseases, neurology, women's health and rare diseases. Recruiting patients is one of the major bottlenecks that result in delays in bringing therapies to market, evidenced by nearly 48% of sites failing to meet their enrollment targets.1 Traditionally, even if patients are identified, they often don't live near an existing trial site.
