The Neurologic And Orthopedic Institute Of Chicago Names New President

CHICAGO, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephanie Spiegel, currently COO of The Neurologic and Orthopedic Institute of Chicago (the Institute) has taken on the additional role of President. The Institute is a specialty hospital on Chicago's north side that provides innovative and specialty care in neurosurgery and orthopedics. In her expanded role, Spiegel is responsible for the Institute's clinical programs, financial performance, and strategic plan. As COO, she helped build and open the new 78-bed hospital.

A seasoned health care professional with extensive experience in operations and service line development, Spiegel also brings physician practice management expertise to the Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, Spiegel held numerous leadership positions, including Vice President of Operations, with both the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch (CINN) and NeuroSource. While at NeuroSource, she developed networks on a national basis. Previously, Spiegel was Product Line Manager of Occupational Health, EHS Healthcare (now Advocate) for Christ Hospital and Medical Center.

Spiegel is nationally known as a speaker particularly on the topic of customer service. She holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree (BSMA) in Special Education and a MA in Adult Education from Jacksonville University Jacksonville, Florida.
