Ruzycki Joins Phyton Biotech

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Magnus Precht, President of Phyton Biotech, Inc., a DFB Pharmaceuticals affiliate, announced that Allen Ruzycki has joined the Company as Director of Finance and Administration.

Phyton Biotech, Inc. is a world leader in the use of plant cell culture technology, a platform used to develop and manufacture products with applications in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Mr. Ruzycki will lead the company's financial organizational efforts, including all financial planning and accounting matters, property accounting services, and serve as liaison for any matters related to the legal department and the day to day direction of the human resources activities.

Mr. Ruzycki said he looks forward to working with Phyton and that he has several specific goals for the position, including a financial strategic vision plan, the installation of an enhanced financial reporting system, and an overall review of practices within the company.

Mr. Ruzycki has extensive experience in the business and financial management realm, most recently as Acting Director of Finance for a privately held company, from which he was recruited by Phyton Biotech, Inc. In his prior role, he developed new programs and sales reports in addition to recommending improved policies and procedures. He was also Controller/Chief Financial Officer for a small New Jersey company, directing and managing budget processing, forecasting, and treasury functions. He managed purchasing, billing, accounts payable, and payroll. He also served in prominent positions in companies such as Nabisco, Fisher Scientific, Poly Chrome, and BASF Corporation.

He received a BA of finance from Drexel University in 1970 and earned his MBA of finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981.
