Regulatory & Clinical Research Institute, Inc. Appoints Tito Aldape As Vice President Of Regulatory Affairs And Quality Systems

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Regulatory & Clinical Research Institute, Inc. (RCRI), a Minneapolis-based company offering specialized consulting services to the medical products industry, announced the appointment of Tito Aldape as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems.

Aldape holds both a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry and Master of Science in Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry from the University of Texas, San Antonio. He is a Six Sigma Engineer and his vast experience and expertise is highly sought after. Aldape serves as a technical advisor to the both the FDA and NIOSH for both medical device manufacturing and pharmaceutical technology. In addition, he sits as ASTM chairman on four distinct technical committees, is a voting member at ASTM, and is the author of numerous ASTM consensus standards. Additional professional affiliations include the American Chemical Society, American Society for Quality, and Regulatory Affairs Professional Society. Aldape has authored an extensive list of published articles in various areas of expertise.

Prior to this, Aldape had leadership responsibilities at Alcon Laboratories / DPT Laboratories focusing on pharmaceutical and combination products. In addition, Aldape also worked as a Research Scientist for KRUG Life Sciences at the School of Aerospace Medicine where he lead and supported R&D projects for NASA. Tito has 20 years of experience in the US as well as international regulatory affairs and quality systems within the medical device, IVD, and biosciences industries. As RCRI's Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems, Aldape will lead the two departments while also serving as a Principal Advisor to further support the needs of clients in the areas of regulatory affairs, compliance, and quality systems.
