Oxford Finance Acts as Syndication Agent and Lender for Senior Credit Facility Used to Acquire SeraCare Life Sciences, Inc.

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Oxford Finance LLC ("Oxford"), a specialty finance firm that provides senior debt to life sciences and healthcare services companies, today announced that it participated in the issuance of a senior secured credit facility for Linden Capital Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on middle market leveraged buyout investments in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Proceeds of the debt financing were used to acquire SeraCare Life Sciences, a global life sciences company that provides products and services to facilitate the discovery, development and production of human diagnostics and therapeutics, as well as to fund ongoing working capital needs.
