MSSI-TeleScience Signs LOI To Acquire PracticeOne

VIENNA, Va., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MSSI-TeleScience International, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: MSSI) announced today that the company has signed a letter of intent to acquire PracticeOne, a leading single-source provider of practice and clinical management application software and services to physician practices and clinics.

The deal is forecast to add more than $5 million in annualized revenue. The transaction is subject to the signing of definitive agreements and customary closing conditions. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

PracticeOne, a privately held company headquartered in Calabasas, California, is a national leader in HIPAA compliant practice management solutions that help physicians manage clinical, patient and administrative issues. The company has an installed client base of over 1,500 providers spanning over 300 practices in 41 states. PracticeOne's system is available on either the customer's in-house server or an ASP platform via PracticeOne's Data Center -- providing unified access to a suite of innovative and proven applications that enable easy, affordable access through a single desktop menu. Its solutions address core practice management, clinical charting, claims management and process improvement needs, enabling physician practices to better manage patient care, serve their patients and increase productivity.
