Michael A. Nameth Appointed Executive Vice President Of Medmark Inc.

PITTSBURGH, Pa., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Medmark Inc., a leading provider of specialty pharmaceuticals headquartered in western Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael A. Nameth to Executive Vice President. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nameth will be responsible for sales and marketing, market development, and clinical programs, and government affairs.

Mr. Nameth has more than 20 years of experience in managed care, specifically dealing with health plans and PBMs. Prior to joining Medmark, Mr. Nameth was President of WellPoint Pharmacy Management, the fourth-largest pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) in the country and the nation's largest health plan-owned PBM. Under Mr. Nameth's leadership, WellPoint Pharmacy Management was processing over 300 million prescription claims annually and serviced clients throughout the country.

Mr. Nameth holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Ohio State University and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Dayton.
