Gregg Friedmann Joins HealthSTAR Advertising As VP, Copy Director

WOODBRIDGE, N.J., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthSTAR Advertising Inc. has named Gregg Friedmann to the newly created position of Vice President, Copy Director, responsible for overseeing both the copywriting and proofreading/editing departments.

Friedmann was formerly vice president and associate creative director for copy at Torre Lazur Communications, where he worked on several major brands, including the launch of Roche's PEGASYS(R) for the treatment of hepatitis C. He will report to Kristi Bridges, HealthSTAR's Executive Vice President and Executive Creative Director.

"Getting Gregg on board is a major coup," said Bridges, who pointed to Friedmann's experience in a wide range of categories, including arthritis, allergy, anesthetics and diabetes. "Gregg's diversity, along with his success in helping to launch new products and win new business, will make him a very valuable member of the HealthSTAR team," she said.

Although his last nine years were spent at Torre Lazur, Friedmann has been a medical advertising writer since 1992. Over the years, he has written or supervised everything from sales motivation to patient education materials, websites, corporate campaigns, direct mail and display.

He received his BA in advertising from Penn State and is a resident of Whippany, NJ.
