CompONE Services Names New Chief Executive And Financial Officers

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- CompONE announced today the hiring of J. Paul O'Haro to the position of Chief Executive Officer and Charles T. Prater to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Jeff Greene, the current CEO, will remain as CompONE's Chairman of the Board and will function as an advisor to the company.

O'Haro joins CompONE from Per-Se Technologies where he was Regional Vice President in St. Louis. His 19 years of experience includes more than nine years in the healthcare financial services sector, mostly in senior management positions. O'Haro successfully managed his territory in transitioning Per-Se from a regionally-based company into a medical-specialty specific organization. Prior to joining Per-Se, O'Haro worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Healthcare Consultant assisting healthcare organizations with process improvement and financial analysis.

Greene said, "J. Paul knows what it takes to move a company into its next phase of growth. He brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, creativity, and has a proven track record of client satisfaction within a strategy of growth. This move represents our commitment to grow CompONE with leadership that shares a vision for the future of healthcare and a reputation for providing clients the best possible services."

Prater joins CompONE as Chief Financial Officer for retiring co-founder Cliff Winburn. Prater, a CPA by training, is known for growing businesses from start-up to annual earnings exceeding tens of millions. He has performed over 35 acquisitions of private and public companies. His most recent position was as President and CEO of Assurance Resource Company, an Oklahoma City financial services consulting company where he successfully worked with insurance companies and third party administrators in improving their operations and marketing and with mergers and acquisitions.

Greene said, "Like J. Paul, Charles' expertise is taking companies to the next level. CompONE has grown from a regional presence to an emerging national presence in the past five years. In order to reach CompONE's full potential, we will need the 20 years of growing businesses that Charles possesses. I'm thrilled he has joined our team."

Since 1996, CompONE experienced an average annual growth of 22% until 2003 when growth was slowed to facilitate the development of advanced technologies which are now being offered to the medical billing industry. The addition of O'Haro and Prater represents the culminating event in positioning the organization to take advantage of CompONE's technology and processing preeminence.

CompONE is the largest truly paperless medical billing and practice management service in the country. CompONE is also the only medical billing firm in the country to own and operate a physician credentialing verification organization (CVO). CompONE is well known for developing proprietary technologies designed to help medical providers earn more net income. CompONE is the genesis of ePPO, LLC and its patent pending healthcare delivery program that incorporates evidence-based medicine, doctor and patient financial rewards, and the Internet to improve the standard of care and clinical outcomes while controlling overall costs.
