Children's Healthcare Of Atlanta Ranked Among Top 100 Employers By FORTUNE Magazine
ATLANTA, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is among FORTUNE magazine's elite list of "100 Best Companies to Work For" employers in the country. Children's is the only pediatric hospital in the nation to achieve this honor.
Children's joins five other Georgia organizations on the list. This marks the first time Children's has been featured in the FORTUNE ranking. The list and related stories appears in the January 23rd issue of FORTUNE, available on newsstands January 16th and at www.fortune.com on January 9th.

Children's recognizes that efforts to provide a great working environment begin with the organization's culture. In 2004, Children's created an Employee Promise, based on four areas employees identified as most important to them: total rewards, work-life balance, mutual respect and learning. FORTUNE'S "100 Best Companies to Work For" list is the result of an analysis performed by the Great Place to Work(R) Institute. Companies are ranked based on an extensive two-part questionnaire that covers employment and benefits data, as well as open-ended questions on quality-of-workplace issues and surveys completed by randomly selected employees. Employee responses constitute two-thirds of the scoring system used to separate the good companies from the great companies.
