We are a nation that loves its salt, from fries to chips to shakerfuls on our steak, we salt when we cook, we salt when we serve, we salt just to salt. But it’s taking its toll on the nation’s health, and there may be a way to help the next generation become healthier and reduce their salt consumption: start when they are babies.
