Oxidative Stress May Help Predict Atrial Fibrillation Risk, Emory University School of Medicine Study

MedIndia -- Researchers from Emory University School of Medicine have found that measuring oxidative stress could help doctors predict the risk of developing atrial fibrillation, the most common heart beat irregularity. They have identified a connection between oxidative stress and enlargement of the heart's left atrium, which leads to atrial fibrillation.
