Ortho Development was incorporated on September 20, 1994 by Barry Hubbard and Japan Medical Dynamic Marketing, Inc. (Japan MDM). The original vision for the company was to design and manufacture orthopedic implants for the Japanese market incorporating U.S. technology. Ortho Development has evolved tremendously over the past 20 years with sales now in both the U.S. and Japanese markets and a product portfolio that includes implants and surgical instrumentation for knee and hip replacement, trauma fracture repair, and spine treatment.
