The new Acuity Duo combines an innovative True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headset with a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) co-processor to deliver tailored hearing for mobile calls, online meetings, media streaming and sound amplification.

The advanced 8-channel DSP processing and noise reduction algorithms filter, which suppresses background noise from human speech, facilitates improved sound quality and speech clarity.

Committed to upholding its customer-centric approach, Acuity Duo allows users to adjust the settings of the headset according to their individual needs and preferences via the “My Hearing Acuity” app. In addition, the earbuds are very easy to use, featuring three presets that automatically adapt the sound to the surroundings to ensure an optimal hearing experience.

“Hearing loss is one of the most common chronic health problems in older persons. More than 28 million Americans have some form of hearing loss,” George Wu, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Hear+Hi, explained. “We believe that as the current generation of smart-phone users ages, they would look for the next-generation of wireless audio devices that provide cutting-edge features and benefits that can be tailored to each individual.”

Compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, Acuity Duo boasts extended battery life of up to 30 hours when used with the complimentary Charge & Carrying case. This makes the device especially ideal for senior citizens who like to stay active without having to worry about battery drainage.

“At Hear+Hi, we’ll continue to leverage on our expertise and technologies to develop best-of-breed hearing devices and support those who struggle with mild to moderate hearing issues,” Wu concluded.

The new Acuity Duo earbuds are available for sale on Hear+Hi’s online store.
