Asian Heart Disease Gene Found

Times of India -- In a scientific breakthrough, researchers have claimed to identify a gene which causes heart failure. Conducted by an international team of 25 researchers led by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, the finding will help identify and counsel individuals predisposed to cardiac diseases specially in India, where heart failure is a leading cause of mortality.
