The pill can cause some women to lose that lovin' feeling even long after they have stopped taking it. Women with lackluster libidos and other sexual problems continued to have elevated levels of a protein that inhibits testosterone, a hormone known to play a major role in female sex drive, for as long as a year after going off the oral contraceptive, according to a new study by Boston University researchers.
