Student Aims To School Peers In Biotech Careers

A student who didn't know a venture capitalist from a vice-chancellor last year will preside today at the launch of a new organisation linking students with New Zealand's biotechnology industry. Priv Bradoo, a doctoral student in biomedical science who has just turned 23, says most students she approached about the new group planned to leave the country after graduating because they did not know that local biotechnology companies existed.
