Antioxidants May Boost Male Fertility, University of Auckland Study Finds

MedPageToday -- Prenatal vitamins may be a good idea for men as well as women, according to a Cochrane review that found that antioxidant supplements may boost fertility for men. Among couples undergoing fertility treatments, men taking antioxidants were over fourfold more likely than controls to get their partner pregnant and see a successful live birth, Marian G. Showell, of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and colleagues reported in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews.
