Frederick National Laboratory Director Ethan Dmitrovsky, M.D., National Cancer Institute Director Norman Sharpless, M.D., and National Cancer Institute Deputy Director Douglas Lowy, M.D. wrote about the fascinating history of the Frederick National Laboratory and its transformation into a shared national resource in an article published March 10 in The ASCO Post. In the article, Drs. Dmitrovsky, Sharpless, and Lowy contend that the Frederick National Laboratory is a little-known entity to the cancer research community, but it "could be a great part of its discovery arsenal."
