MedTech Association Announces Expansion Of Member Network

MedTech Association, the leading member based trade association for bioscience and medical technology (Bio/Med) in New York State, today announced a significant expansion of their member network, providing much needed education, connection and advocacy services to foremost industry companies and senior executives. Most recent member additions include Brownlie Designs, Programmable Equipment Company, Raland Compliance Partners, SR Scales by SR Instruments and University of Albany.

MedTech’s new member growth continues to be driven by the increasing demand for a professional eco-system that enables industry collaboration and partnership to support corporate growth. “It has become clear that there has been limited opportunity across New York State for Bio/Med companies to come together under a single umbrella and connect with like-minded organizations and partners to help strategically grow their companies. At MedTech, we are relentlessly focused on providing this platform to help our members network, increase awareness of their products and services and continue to grow the industry in New York State,” said Jessica Crawford, MedTech President.

According to Crawford, a major part of enabling New York State companies to bring tomorrow’s medical solutions to market is the announcement of “MEDTECH 2016 – Innovation Impact: Keeping New York’s Finger on the Pulse.”, which will be held September 27 & 28 at the Hilton Albany in Albany, N.Y. Now in its 12th year, MEDTECH 2016 will bring together the largest gathering of executives and senior leaders across New York’s Bio/Med industry to collaborate, network and partner around new ways to improve care, reduce costs and grow revenue.

“MedTech’s annual conference directly meets our need for a supportive community of similar executives and businesses,” says Bill Rader, CEO of Efferent Labs. “This conference successfully pieces the different groups together across the state, and creates the need and opportunity to talk, learn and network with our peers.” Rader joined the association in 2015, after placing second at the 43 North startup competition.
