COLD SPRING, N.Y., Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Telomere Biosciences, LLC (Telomere Biosciences) announced today the launch of their Nutraceutical "TELO-20 for Dogs" with Telomerase Activation Complex, the first and only Telomere-lengthening supplement in the world for dogs. Telomeres are the protective caps at the ends of every chromosome in the body. A wealth of ground-breaking research by some of the world's leading experts in Telomere Science and Aging, including Nobel laureates, has demonstrated a strong connection between short Telomeres and many of the negative conditions associated with human aging, and also with canine aging.

New TELO-20 for Dogs; the World's First Telomere Supplement for Dogs--based on Nobel-Prize Winning Telomere Science--to Promote: Healthy Aging and Longevity in Dogs 5 to 15+

"When we launched TELO-100 with T-Activator 150 in November 2013, we made our Mission clear," stated David B. Cross, founder of Telomere Biosciences: "To bring the breakthrough health benefits of Nobel prize-winning Telomere Science to a mass audience, applying the very latest research in the field to the most advanced Telomere Nutraceuticals available; and to make this leading-edge science price-accessible not only to the wealthy, but to all those who can benefit from longer Telomeres for a longer healthspan. We are excited and proud to say that TELO-20 for Dogs, at $49.95 for 60 chewable tablets that dogs love, now extends our Mission to the more than 70 million dogs in the U.S. alone, and almost all consider our pet dogs to be 'family members.'"

TELO-20for Dogs is a proprietary 'complex' integrating 8 of the exact same natural ingredients as are in TELO-100 for humans. And while all 8 natural ingredients activate the Telomere-lengthening enzyme, Telomerase, all 8 go beyond just telomerase activation to also fight the other two major causes of Telomere shortening--Oxidative Stress and Inflammation--just as they uniquely do in TELO-100.

According to Cross, it is well known that Telomeres shorten as we age, but research shows that canine Telomeres actually shorten at a greatly accelerated rate in relation to humans--they 'age faster'--so TELO-20 for Dogs was specifically developed for all dogs ages 5-15+, just as TELO-100 was developed for all humans 40-90+.

Cross added: "Telomere Biosciences is also committed to giving back, in this case to dogs in need, so from now through October 1, we are thrilled and humbled to donate $5 from every single bottle of TELO-20 for Dogs sold, to help Fresno Bully Rescue, www.fresnobullyrescue.org/home.html , a non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully dog breeds, do their tremendous work."

Already TELO-20 for Dogs is garnering the attention of pet experts and dog owners: "I'm thrilled to have found a canine longevity product from a company that I trust," said Nikki Moustaki, award-winning author, dog trainer, and pet expert, in her recent review of TELO-20 on her website, www.nikkiknowspets.com. "Because I take Telomere Biosciences' TELO-100 telomere product for humans, it's a no-brainer for me to give TELO-20 for Dogs to my furry pals on a daily basis. The science behind this product is convincing."
