Top 10 Monthly News For June 2014

A happy summer to all of you as we approach July 4th with thoughts of burgers, hot dogs, and beautiful fireworks in the sky. While May's most popular news was saturated with big deals that didn't go through, June's numbers told a different story. But, that's not to say big deals weren't alive and present in the biotech world. With Valeant taking its $53 billion Allergan bid to shareholders as well as Abbvie making its third bid for healthcare giant Shire, we know the M&A drama will continue throughout the summer.

Last year, Massachusetts was named the top biotech hub in the United States. Not only do we know this, but Sanofi's CEO Viehbacher apparently thinks so as well. Word is his love for Boston has propelled this top exec to call the city "home." With his heart and home now in Boston, we are eager to see what direction the company will be heading.

Now, please check out the popular stories for June. Thank you for being our loyal readers.
