Kite Pharma Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kite Pharma, Inc. (KITE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing engineered autologous T cell therapy (eACT(TM)) products for the treatment of cancer, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,500,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $17.00 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market on June 20, 2014 under the symbol "KITE". In addition, the underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,125,000 shares of common stock.
Jefferies LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Stifel is acting as co-manager.
