(Adamas) (Nasdaq:ADMS), a specialty pharmaceutical company, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $16.00 per share. The shares began trading on The NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker symbol "ADMS" on April 10, 2014. Adamas estimates net proceeds from the offering to be approximately $41.5 million after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses.
Credit Suisse and Piper Jaffray acted as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering. William Blair and Needham & Company acted as co-managers.
