magazine has once again named Bayer as one of the "World's Most Admired Companies" in its annual survey of top industry executives. Survey respondents are asked to rank the world's largest companies within nine industry categories ranging from quality of management to innovation to investment value.
Bayer ranked No. 4 on the chemicals industry list with a score of 6.36, slightly higher than last year's score of 6.33. Regarding specific categories within the chemicals industry, Bayer ranked No. 2 in the areas of global competitiveness and social responsibility.

According to FORTUNE, the "Most Admired" list is widely considered the definitive report card on corporate reputations.
