Premier Biomedical Met With NFL And NCAA Representatives During Super Bowl Week At Coalition for Concussion Treatment Summit At The United Nations

2/14/2014 9:19:57 AM

EL PASO, TX--(Marketwired - February 13, 2014) - Premier Biomedical, Inc. (http://www.premierbiomedical.com/) (OTCQB: BIEI) today released the following statement regarding their participation in the Coalition for Concussion Treatment (#C4CT) Summit established by Brewer Sports International (http://www.brewersports.com/) (BSI) during Super Bowl Week at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. The conference followed the announcement that Brewer Sports International and Premier Biomedical have entered into a long-term strategic partnership agreement to continue to explore innovative treatment methods for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other neurological diseases.

Premier Biomedical personnel met with current and former National Football League (NFL) players, doctors, neurologists, NFL team physicians, key representatives from private industry involved in head trauma, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) as well as the Chief Medical Officers from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the NFL Retired Players Association (NFLRPA). Premier Biomedical representatives included William A. Hartman, President and CEO, Richard T. Najarian, Chief Investment Officer and V.P. Alzheimer's/ALS/TBI Division and Jay Rosen, Board of Directors member.

"This was an excellent opportunity to meet with important decision makers at the NCAA and NFL affiliated organizations and to expose them to the progress we are continuing to make with our partners in R&D, the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and the Department of Defense (DOD) with Center of Expertise at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center," stated President William Hartman. "Our objective to develop tests and cures for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the resultant neurological diseases that ensue from such injuries to sports participants as well as current active duty military personnel and veterans was acknowledged by attendees and their technical representatives who described our technology as being 'novel and paradigm-changing'. We are committed to ultimate success in this race to find a cure. New relationships are being sought with prospective partners that will bring the sports community together with us to find a cure for TBI and its dreadful long-term neurological effects."

Brewer Sports International is thrilled to have another partner in the fight against TBI and other neurological diseases as part of its ongoing #C4CT movement. Premier Biomedical stands behind its approach to develop a cure for Traumatic Brain Injury and the associated neurological diseases associated with concussion.
