Mr. Pharr's presentation will focus on the optimal conditions for the discovery of clinical insights through effective management and reuse of data. Mr. Pharr will share his vision of what a next-generation bioinformatics system should look like, combining an improved biobank management model with a master ontology that controls all input and output, all flexible enough to meet the specialized needs of everyone involved in cross-disease research. His presentation will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at 3:50PM as part of the Biospecimen Science and Sample Prep and the Clinical and Translational Science Tracks.

This will also be Mr. Kennedy's third year participating in the "Emerging Technologies and Industry Perspectives" Plenary Keynote Panel, taking place on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at 8:00AM. Other Remedy team members participating at MMTC include Wessam Sonbol, product manager, clinical research & informatics, who will be a roundtable moderator for discussions taking place during the conference.

Remedy will be in the exhibit area (Booth #406) throughout the event to demonstrate two of its next-generation biobank and study management informatics products: Specimen Track and Study Manager. Both are designed to provide researchers with tools to more effectively and efficiently collect, analyze and manage data to drive translational research and discovery.

Specimen Track is biospecimen management software that enables biobanks, clinicians and labs engaged in multicenter collaboration to intuitively manage biorepository workflows, adapt to changing data needs and drive translational research.

Study Manager is the first integrated research management system to offer complete control of data collection and analysis. With Study Manager, researchers across the bench-to-bedside continuum can manage studies, subjects, consents and visits in one centralized location.
