Kindred Bio (KIN) Prices $52.5 Million IPO For Biopharma Pet R&D

Kindred Bio Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 11, 2013) - Kindred Biosciences, Inc. (Kindred Bio), a biopharmaceutical company focused on saving and improving the lives of pets, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,500,000 shares of its common stock at an initial public offering price of $7.00 per share for a total offering amount of $52,500,000 before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by Kindred Bio. Kindred Bio has granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 1,125,000 shares of its common stock at the initial public offering price. All of the shares are being offered by Kindred Bio. The shares are expected to begin trading under the ticker "KIN" on the NASDAQ Capital Market on December 12, 2013.

BMO Capital Markets and Guggenheim Securities are acting as book-running managers for the offering. Roth Capital Partners is acting as co-manager for the offering.
