CLC bio Continues Success With a 30 Percent Growth in Software Sales and over 500 New Organizations as Customers in 2012

AARHUS, Denmark--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, the world’s leading bioinformatics software company, CLC bio, is pleased to announce a continued positive development in 2012 with a 30% increase in both software sales and employees, and more than a 30% rise in new organizations as customers. “In many ways, 2012 featured significant milestones for us as a company. We now have more than 100 employees around the world, which together with our market reach makes us the largest bioinformatics company focusing on next generation sequencing. We also added more than 500 new unique organizations to our customer list, surpassing 2000 in total", states CEO at CLC bio, Thomas Knudsen, and continues, "In September we acquired our first company, Molegro.
