Adults with Asthma Under-Vaccinated Against Flu, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Reports

MedPage Today -- LITTLE FALLS, N.J., June 23 -- Most adult asthmatics are not getting recommended flu shots, researchers have found. During the 2006-2007 flu season, only 40% of adults with asthma were vaccinated, according to Peng-jun Lu, MD, PhD, of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, and colleagues.
