Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (KERX) to Host Conference Call on First Quarter 2013 Financial Results

NEW YORK, May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: KERX), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the acquisition, development and commercialization of medically important pharmaceutical products for the treatment of renal disease, today announced that a conference call will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. EDT to discuss results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 and a business outlook for the remainder of 2013. Ron Bentsur, Chief Executive Officer of Keryx, will host the call.

In addition, Keryx's Japanese partner, Japan Tobacco Inc. and Torii Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has filed its New Drug Application for marketing approval of ferric citrate in Japan for the treatment of hyperphosphatemia in patients with chronic kidney disease.
