Women Speak Less When They're Outnumbered, Brigham Young University and Princeton University Study

A new study shows that having a seat at the table is very different than having a voice. The study, by researchers at Brigham Young University and Princeton University, found that women speak less than men when a group collaborates to solve a problem. In most groups that the researchers studied, the time that women spoke amounted to less than 75 percent of the time that men spoke.
