EndoChoice, Inc. announced today that it has acquired Interactive Optics, Inc., a Nashville-based endoscope repair company. Founded in 1997, Interactive Optics has been an EndoChoice strategic partner for the past four years. Financial details of the transaction were not released.

Interactive Optics has an established national customer base, which it services from its state-of-the-art facility in Nashville. The endoscope repair functions will remain in Nashville after the acquisition.
Bergein F. (Gene) Overholt, M.D., MACP, MACG, FASGE of Gastrointestinal Associates, P.C. in Knoxville, TN, is a customer of both EndoChoice and Interactive Optics. EndoChoice recently announced that it is expanding its Alpharetta headquarters by 70%. This is the third time in two years that EndoChoice has increased its square footage to keep up with the company's dramatic growth.
