(OTCBB: VQPH) ("VioQuest") completed construction of its new pilot production facility in Jiashan, China. This modern, American-standard laboratory provides the capacity to quickly scale-up chiral building blocks and catalysts production to meet the growing customer demand. Additionally, it provides cost-effective access to China's research and development talent. Four floors totaling 40,000 square feet located just outside of Shanghai, have been outfitted to produce up to 100 kilos of efficient, economical, chiral building blocks and catalysts. The first floor, consisting of approximately 10,000 square feet, is a kilo-scale pilot lab that is capable of producing up to 100 kilograms of chiral catalysts and building blocks. The second floor, consisting of approximately 10,000 square feet, is comprised of a research and development set-up that meets western standards for design, equipment, safety and environmental issues. The two remaining floors will be remodeled over the next several months. When fully occupied, the building can house nearly 100 employees.
