Additional Awards, Expanded Customer List Highlight Growing Demand for Gene Expression Analysis Solutions

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2003--Silicon Genetics today announced that it has received two additional commendations highlighting the company's rapid growth. As a sign of continued expansion, the company also disclosed that it licensed its gene expression analysis products to more than 170 customers during the recently concluded third fiscal quarter. The company earlier disclosed it had earned a spot on Deloitte Technology's coveted Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. Subsequently, the company has been notified that it was also named to the Deloitte Fast 50 for Silicon Valley, and to the Silicon Valley Business Journal's list of Fastest Growing Private Companies for the third consecutive year.
