The system features a lightweight belt-like garment utilizing patented Zephyr technology, developed in conjunction with US Special Operations, NASA Ames Research Center and Stanford University. The software component, ADInstruments LabChart software, used in leading research and teaching labs, provides powerful data acquisition and analysis capabilities with the aid of the LabChart BioHarness Extension.

The BioHarness Telemetry System is ideal for a wide range of applications including research, teaching, sports medicine, exercise physiology and defense/military exercises. BioHarness built-in sensors measure a range of human physiological signals including ECG, breathing wave, heart rate, skin temperature, posture, acceleration and activity.

BioHarness recording range of up to 100 meters allows real-time wireless data acquisition with ADInstruments LabChart software. Alternatively, the system can be utilized in data logging mode for remote monitoring of data. Logged data can be imported to LabChart for Windows platform via USB. The USB rechargeable battery allows up to eight hours of continuous data to be recorded.

ADInstruments LabChart software, with BioHarness extension is used to record up to 17 signals in real time. An additional 15 channels are available for calculations and analysis. Enhanced data recording and specialized analysis can be performed using ADInstruments powerful LabChart Pro software with LabChart Modules.
